Thanks. It would be nice to have an excel program to make updating easier. I'm trying to determine if numbers that are at the 'halfway point(5 to 6 days out)' are more likely to be drawn than those that are 'cold' ( a cold number is defined by me as 10 or more draws not drawn). I'll be updating it manually for a few days to see what the results are.

according to gail howards philosophy you would play all games within the last 10 days...

or more likely in the case of NYT5    4hot/1cold....

number 9 is becoming a do or die number...

@JP, i like that idea of midpoint...

skip 6 in T5 is way overdue...but like all things way overdue...they take a long time to come back....the number 20 is poised for a quick one two haymaker.

Should be interesting to see how you interpret the findings.  The reason I say interesting is because there are so many ways to define "why" any number comes out when it does ... how can we really be sure?  Is it because it ALWAYS comes out after a certain amount of skips, or is it because its favorite pair mate "called" it out (ex. 6 likes to play with 10, 6 is in a good position to come out ... so it brings 10 along that happened to be out x # of games ... Maybe these are some of the reasons for the "mix" of seemingly hot, warm & cold?  Or I almost forgot to talk about the "followers" factor ... Maybe 3 of the numbers drawn are only coming out because they are followers of previously drawn numbers and 2 of those 3 bring along their favorite pairing ... 

Just food for thought ...

Yes it is interesting...is it also because certain patterns become due at certain times as the numbers take turns?

6 is also being called by other numbers...not just the 10...

6 likes to play with the 30 which is also within an emerging pattern...

or is it the probability of an emerging pattern that we measure and not the individual numbers??

That's the reason for these conversations. Food for thought and good food I might add. The thing that is favorable is that the NYT5 game is not computerize. That would put things in a different light since now the potential for the software to draw only what's in it's favor is more possible. In the end, winning is all that matters. Having a good strategy will mean more wins. You know what would be the cream of the crop to me? To get 3 power numbers regularly! Yeah! That would be something.

Now that's the TRUTH!  I see you stepping out there with 3 this time ... great.  Join me in the quest!  Getting the power numbers right changes everything!

Good points Lottoboner. There is something about the 'zero' I'm telling you. It's been proven here time and time again. Yes that 20 might come tonight. Why? Because it's a proven fact that 'a zero will bring a zero'. NOT ALL THE TIME. Nothing is ALL the time in numbers. So if you are looking for a good numbers to play, it would be the 10 again or the 20 or 30. You can take that to the bank!

Yeah, I'm getting bolder. I still might chicken out later. Ha.Ha. I had two 3 & 23 but the others were a dud. Like I said before, FP's are good too. Man, if you get the 3 power numbers that's 10 lines at a win of maybe 20 bucks each line. That ain't bad!
