How hard can it be?

Coming up with 5 numbers?  Yes, they have to be the correct ones, but STILL - 5 - that's all.   Gee.

The cheerleader on my shoulder shouts, "Come on, YOU CAN DO IT!  GO!!!"  She's been shouting for a long time now, every Wednesday and Saturday, even sometimes on Tuesdays and Fridays, poor girl, but she buys energy drinks.  What a trooper.

What do you think, can it be done?

Of course it can !!!   its done every 4-6 weeks...just not by me or possibly you (yet)....I have this guy~~~~> on my shoulder laughing when I don't come up with the correct 5 + 1......But I am due and it will happen ! ...The date that it's going to happen is a bit fuzzy. I am leaning towards this next Friday or Saturday

Coming up with or picking 4 numbers is easier than 5 and 3 is easier than 4. But how easy depends on how many choices we have. In PB there are 5,153,633 different choices to match 5 numbers, 19,088 to match 4, and 360 to match 3. 

To answer your question, of course it can be done and was done many times, but it's one of those difficult things that aren't often repeated. Your cheerleader is oblivious to how hard a task it is, but still knows it can be done and besides, she can buy lots of pom poms with with $1 million.

I'm sure each of the winners (if they are long time lottery players) have asked themselves the same question.

It's kind of nice that where I work there are 3 co-workers who love the games and feel the same about persistence.  We're not doing a pool at the moment but I imagine we will again one of these days.  There is no retirement plan through my job so YES - I will keep playing my games.
