I can't wait!  saddly the skys are SO overcast that we don't even have sunlight today so, while I will be going out to check it out (between 8 & 9 when the moon is rising so it will look HUGE) - it doesn't seem that we will be able to see much...  although maybe it will clear up!  one can always hope.

with all the excitement over this big moon (which i had never before known that there was a specific name for) - will everyone also go equally agog over the bluemoon (which arguably will be in August)?  I love a beautiful full moon as much as the next person, so I am wondering...

Has anyone ever noted that these moons, other than affecting the tides and pregnant women, actually affect the lottery as well?

I had a wife that used to get extra crabby on the full moon.

She was always crabby, mind you.

But she was extra crabby on the full moon.

Sometimes she was so crabby I'd go out to the bar and not come back all night.

I'd come home the next morning and she was still crabby.

Sometimes I'd stay gone two or three days.

I'd come home and she was still crabby!

LOLOL - you would think she would be kind enough to THANK you for the vacation you gave her.  I'm just sayin'.

I personally believe that all relationships thrive on a good dose of 'apart-ness'... and it has nothing to do with the heart growing fonder and absence and all that... it has more to do with the memory growing fainter... (there are times that i really appreciate 'old-timers' moments)
