This is a heads-up that Lottery Post will go offline at some point today, for about an hour.  I'm not sure what time yet, but it will probably be this afternoon.

The downtime is related to an equipment move, so unfortunately there is no way to complete the move without the downtime.  I'll do my best to minimize the downtime.

The downtime will also affect USA Mega.  Both Lottery Post and USA Mega will be completely offline.

Also, e-mail service will be disrupted during that time.

I'm happy to report that most of the work has been completed, so there may be only minor service interruptions over the next few days.  The site was down for around 30 minutes while the move was completed, from around 2:30 to 3:00 Eastern Time this afternoon.

Thanks, but it's not too swanky.  Just a different location in the data center.  Data centers are like big air-conditioned warehouses filled with rows of tall cabinets holding computer servers.  Extremely noisy with all the air conditioners and thousands of computer servers going all the time.  It's kind of like the noise you hear riding on a jet airplane, except louder.  A pair of Bose noise-cancelling headphones definitely helps.  Low swank factor.  Wink
