i guess you could use a countif functions...so countif(range,0)+countif(range,1)+countif(range,2)...and then if you have sum of 3 then it is low...

Hi Lottogloria,

Try this.

Assuming that your digit is in cell A1.

=CHOOSE(A1+1, "L", "L", "L","M", "M", "M","M", "H", "H", "H")

Serge.

Public Function LMH(digit) As String
LMH = WorksheetFunction.Choose(digit + 1, "LOW", "LOW", "LOW", "MED", "MED", "MED", "MED", "HIGH", "HIGH", "HIGH")
End Function

LOW AS 012
MED AS 3456
HIGH AS 789
