When will I lose my New Member ranking? Does it go by the number of posts I have, or how long I've been a member? I looked in the Help section, but can't seem to find the answer. Thanks.

It's either an automated robotic decision by the highly advanced LP computerized/post analyzer , or if you hit a 5+0 for any lottery. I forget which one? To be on the safe side, just sore a 5+0 or better, that should do the trick!

Can you explain what you mean by "hit a 5+0 for any lottery." Sure, for example if playing the Powerball or Mega Millions, just get the first five numbers correct. (That would be a 5+0). If you were to get all five of the white balls, + either the Powerball, or Megaball that would be a 5+1 (JACKPOT!!!). Good luck Lucky5of5!

I couldn't care less about Top 10, or Top 100, etc. or the blue bars attained from number of posts. All I want is to lose the "New Member" status, so I can click on links without being ousted. All I can do right now is copy/paste links into my browser window and not include any in my posts and replies, if I understand correctly.

It's based on your number of posts, The reason newbies cant post links it to prevent someone new signing up and posting links of spam. Big John says. You don't hit the number. The number hits you!!!! I thought I'd lose the "New Member" status once I had a certain number of posts, but I ran across one member who only has 41 posts and isn't lost their new member ranking. Hmmm, now I'll wait for the 30-day mark and see what happens.

Its a function of time on LP versus quantity of posts...so the formula is something like this... F(Memberstatus)=Quantity of postsXTime on LPxHAL1000XTvaderapprovalratingofposts... I think everybody gets promoted at the same time... so when you pop your cherry...i will be becoming a whore... est modus in rebus --- Catch the Lightning!
