As remorseful as I am to state that I am a resident of PA, here is some facts about the PA lottery that boarders misleading the public:
1: FACT: The Lottery Benefits Senior Citizens.
2: FACT : PA has approx 2 Million seniors.
3: FACT : PA Lottery recently released " we have helped aide over 32,000 presciptions" for the Seniors
4: FACT: PA Lottery promotes Senior help for Utilities
Now for the Real Translation
Fact 1- The Lottery Benefits the Commonwealth (period)
Fact: True PA has 2 million seniors
Fact 3: 32,000 prescripts paid thru lottery divided by 2 million seniors,means ...a Whoppin 0.016% is paid by the lottery funds! I think what they really meant is they helped aide by twisting the cap one full notch to get the med cap lose 
FACT: Seniors are given help for utilities by them saying, yep...go down there and help yourself to the pamphlets, then fill them out and maybe just maybe after we get your blood and cholestrol test back , we might give you 2 dollars towards your heating bill. But you have to be 150% below poverty,wearing a parka and have frost bite over 80% of your body.
And finally the laxative of all....They want to privatize the lottery ...so that they can then enact taxing winnings...Yup...see how that works? Once the business goes private, they get to profit more and give less to programs. So if you think you got a friend in PA, think again.
So to others of this great state, are you willing to be snookered by the PA Lottery spiel? or have you seen the light.
