Powerball is 50 mil up from 40 mil. Mega Millions is now 55 mil from 45 mil. Why did Powerball only go up 10 mil? Powerball tickets are twice the cost, so that should mean more money to make the jackpot grow faster, also since it was the drawing after the huge jackpot you'd think people bought mutli-draw tickets thinking the jackpot might roll.

I don't think PB has had more than a $10m increase under the new format until it's around the $100m mark.

I don't think PB has had more than a $10m increase under the new format until it's around the $100m mark. It just proves that people have cut PB purchases in half to offset the new price.

When ever PB and MM jackpots are with $10-$20M of each other, PB is going to come up short because the odds per dollars spent of winning something are so much for MM plus MM cash value is probably more. * The fundamentals of winning a lottery jackpot * * play a lottery you can win *
