They can be somewhat lackadaisical about it. It should only take more than a few days to turnaround your request, but the last time they took several weeks!

They came back with some lame excuse that it took a long time to run my request... Yeah, right! I work with databases, and that kind of simple query shouldn't take more than a few seconds or minutes.

I hear you Jon. I am myself a software engineer for past 20 plus yrs. A simple "select * from table_sfl where yr=2012": shouldn't take more than a few seconds ;-)

I had looked at the Scratchers data before and it was unremarkable. I had the 2011 Scratchers data for a while but was too busy too bother looking at it.

What is really interesting is that one store in Santa Clara that got three $2,000,000 SFL prizes in that year, which is really unusual since only about 1 in 10 stores ever see *any* Top prizes at all. In fact, only one other store had more than one 6 figure prize.

Yes I watched the shuttle this moring. It flew over my work place in Glendale and over my house in Burbank :-) as many flyover sites like Hollywood Hills, Universal, JPL , Griffith Observatory are all close by. 

I got 4 $5 CA Black scratchers from Reseda about 1 hour back. 3 losers and 1 had the 10x symbol with a $1 under...Duh got 50% back ..

I saw that CA had some decent wins lately

why is the set for life scratcher ending, lol that was my favorite one.

There are still 9 top prize left..so it may take some time unless the Lottery sees drastic reduction in sales. I am not a big fan of SFL though I but them occassionally. Over 20 years the value of the dollar will fall so the amount we receive during the later years will fetch less at that time.

So Fortune 1,000,000 is a good buy right now? Can anyone calculate the after tax winning of that?

No CA tax on lottery winnings. Fed tax is 25% so I guess you should get $750,000 for top price.

Looks like last night CA Lottery add 5 more prizes for the Top 2 in the $250 million spectacular.

Got 1 $10 250 million spectacular & 2 $10 Fortunes from Sherman Oaks 7.11 - all losers ..lost $30.

More than half back but disappointing in a sense that I thought new scratchers first issue books are more likely to payback and plus some. Also, this book came from a hot store that sold a million dollar scratcher in 2011 and sold a 20,000 and 10,000 ticket last year. Good luck to all....and me as well!

Thanks for posting your book results on this new game, I haven't seen any of these Monopoly yet in my stores, maybe tomorrow.

I don't usually buy books, because you only have like a 1-in-10 to 1-in-20 odds of turning a profit. And since minimum pack return is around 40-50%, thats a big hit all at once. You got pretty decent with 65% return. But since you are playing more, you are also more likely to get bigger wins.

So, I've bought books and I've bought random tickets from several stores but am still not producing winning results...Do you have any strategies that work? If you don't feel comfortable sharing, it's all good.................Or is it all about luck? I hope not
