Of course there is a markup.  There is always a markup on El Gordo, because it is a much more intensive job for a service to handle.

But I think you'll find that the service I linked to is actually a lower price than competing services, many of which are pretty shady and don't offer features like the ability to buy specific numbers in advance.  And it's a lot cheaper than buying a plane ticket to Spain.

As I said before in this thread, the lower-tier prizes can be a bit complex, but one of the nice things about the service is they handle all that for you.  There are a lot of lower-tier prizes, and the fact that the spread out the number of jackpot winners means there are tons of millionaires made, not just one or a handful like US raffles.

If you need to be convinced to play El Gordo, then I would probably skip it.  Most lottery players "in the know" go a little overboard on the game because of the wide scale of upside offered.

Just went to look and 4 shares is the deal for26.20 , $52.40 for 8 shares, any combination,take all the shares and your the winner.Very affordable for me.Good Luck!!!!!!!!!!

Say what?  When I went there, they were charging $45.75 per share.  If you bought 4, they'd take off $26.20 ($6.55 a share).

You're correct. If you were in Spain buying the shares yourself it would come at a cost of 20 euros a share. They couldn't possibly sell it below that price.

I want to purchase, just like I wanna purchase some other lotteries. Seeing I'm Japan and can't play them.

So How?! My credit card won't be eccepted and I even tried using something called skrill. Thought it would let me since I give it money and then use that account to buy lotto (from TheLotter) and it still says My bank stopped/does not allow the Transaction.

i see a prize of $4  mill  is that per share, they seem to be selling 30 shares. is that going 1/3 in a  10th, or 30th? basically i really want to know is the 4 mill  per share bought ?

             ... that the tickets with  matching numbers  like  77550

                       don't have very many left   as opposed to a ticket

      with no matching numbers       like   34720

are the matching number tickets more  lucrative   than the   non matching number tikets

I just bought 2 tickets! 

Different numbers of course 

Bought 1, but wanted 4 different numbers. They should put the tickets in a big list so you can scroll up and down instead of shuffling. Credit card company says it was billed to Illinois. Anything related to overseas puts a red flag on my card and blocks it. Girl must of thought i was nuts when i told her it was a Spanish raffle.  GLLLLLLLL
