Hello. I was wondering if lotteries release this information to the public? I've looked around on the websites and do not see it, and I think it would be interesting to know how many winners (jackpot or not) were numbers that were quick pick/ self pick. I know on jackpot winners, this information is usually detailed in the media, but I'd like to know about non-jackpot winners as well......thanks y'all. Most lottery websites say in their Q&A sections that 70% of their tickets are quick picks and so are their winners. * The fundamentals of winning a lottery jackpot * * play a lottery you can win *

Florida reports it as a QP after the person's name, for the jackpot winners.

Thanks Y'all...I wish they'd post this information not just for jackpot winners, but for those that win 5# without the powerball/megaball as well...would be interesting to know just how many winners are those that select the numbers, but guess the overall percentage info will have to suffice...thanks for responding! Most press releases of winners state whether the player used quick picks or used own numbers. I know it because I always look for that detail whenever I read those kinds of articles | | |

Texas does for winners in state. Here's one for the Powerball drawing Dec. 26th:
| Where Sold: | Prize Level | Texas Retailer | Texas Retailer Address | Texas Retailer City | Texas Retailer Zip Code | Quick Pick |
|---|
| 5 of 5 | 7-ELEVEN STORE # 16559A | 102 KAUFMAN RD | ROCKWALL | 75087 | Yes / Yes |
I believe that yes/yes under the Quick Pick category is not just for the QP but also "yes" for cash option. | | |
