One thing I've noticed about scratch off tickets over the past 2 years is that I tend to win a lot more when I buy just 1 of each of the tickets I purchase rather than buying 10 at a time of the same ticket.
In other words I have constently won more by spreading my luck around on different tickets. I might buy 2 tickets of the same game but thats it.
I was buying the $10 tickets for a while and won a few $20 or $25 wins but I have found the $10 tickets just eat your bankroll too fast and you never win enough to equal what you end up spending.
I've had the best results from buying $2, $3, or $5 tickets. I do occasionally buy the $1 tickets and I've won a little but there are so many losers in the $1 tickets I tend to stay away from them.
I've also found that I win the most when I buy just 1 of each ticket in a kiosk. I might spend $20 or $30 at a time when I play. Buying 1 of each of the tickets available in the kiosk.
When the New Scratch offs come out I do tend to buy 2 of each of those new tickets just because the chance of winning seems to be higher on Newly released scratch offs.
Richard Lustig wrote a book about lotterys and he advises you buy 10 tickets at a time from the same roll. In my experience, this does not work.
Just my openion but I've found that buy buying 10 tickets from the same roll you tend to get results such as:
1.loser
2.loser
3.loser
4.loser
5.winner but not equal to the other losers.
6.loser.
7.winner but not equal to the other losers.
8.loser
9.loser
10.Loser or perhaps another winner but a break even ticket.
In the end you lose more than you win and are down a few dollars.
