When it came to playing the lottery?

Personally: l was once told to play - 1,2,3,4 5 & the Mega # 6. Can't say for certain whether it's good or bad- but weird perhaps.

I would love to hear from Big winners. For example: " Shut up and take the Lump Sum" or " Take the payments and make mistakes your first and second years."

I am trying to not take myself seriously. Tongue in cheek so to speak.

Some people say play the same number until it hits, (Pick 3), then others do some research and say a certain number hasn't hit in three years or so.

Those who run the lotteries love it when players look for consistency in something that's designed not to have any. So many systems, so many theories, so few jackpot winners.

There is one and only one 'proven' system, and that is to book the action. No matter the game, let the players pick their own losers.

worst advise..........came from grandma, you can't go swimmimg for a half an hour after you eat because you will get cramps and drown<eyeroll>(showing my age on that one)

Best advise also came fom grandma as well...perfect practice makes perfect results

personal advice.......negative thoughts produce negative results

Thanks CDanaT. I heard a lady who talks with Angels and sees Angels say, " Think good thoughts" I kind of remember that taught in grade school.

You forgot to mention Fl, NJ,NY who are almost always in the thick of things Saylorgirl. California is " just going through a lucky streak" ..things will settle down and some other States will have winners. Then California will start cranking out its winners once again- its how its done, its the natural progression of things moving forward.

Best lottery advice I received was from a friend who told me to never conisder playing the lottery to be more than PLAYING the lottery. I think I was 17 when I was told this and it took a couple of years to get the meaning.

Worst lottery advice received: Dont buy tickets from a clerk at the end of their shift. (I never was told WHY that was... therefore it falls under worst advice)

The worst - that guy out of Florida who said 'to win you have to spend more' - and yes I know he won, but I count that as luck.

I haven't had any best advice yet that I can remember as outstanding or memorable.

Oh that 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 thing I think goes in the bad advice category unless you like sharing.

Bad advice don't play that number no one is seeing it in their workouts or play that ticket no one ever hit it any way. Don't buy the tickets other players reject because they feel the retailer mess- up their numbers when they are one who calling out the numbers to the clerk with a long list. Best lottery advice, follow your own mind!
