The points system is mostly a means of locating hot and cold numbers, but instead of merely noting the number of a times a number has appeared, it also keeps track of the digit locations of the numbers. The best way to do implement this system is to look at your last 20 numbers drawn in your state. For each number drawn, give it 3 pts for appearing as the first digit, 2 points for the second digit, and 1 point for appearing in the final digit. For example, last night in Florida, a 346 was drawn. Thus, the 3 would receive 3 points, the 4 two points, and the 6 one point. Go down like this for each number 0-9, and tally up their points to see which have been the hottest, and which have been the coldest. For the 4-ball game, use the same method, but apply 4 points for 1st digit, 3 points for 2nd, 2 for 3rd and 1 for the 4th digit. So last night's Florida Play 4 was 3086, we would have the 3 with 4 pts, 0 with 3, 8 with 2 pts and the 6 with 1. I think this strategy is useful for determing which numbers have been falling in the strong positions. There might be a number appearing rather frequently, but always at the end.. this means it is probably more due in a higher position.

I also like to use this sytem to track Hot & Cold Vtracs, but I'm not sure if it's actually so useful to do much good there. For example, check out the points workout for the last 20 draws for Florida for Vtracs. Vtrac 1 (0,5)= 25 pts Vtrac 2 (1,6)= 15 pts Vtrac 3 (2,7)= 29 pts Vtrac 4 (3,8)= 26 pts Vtrac 5 (4,9)=25 pts That Vtrac2 is so cold, that even if a triple Vtrac 2 fell, it would still be well below the others. I do definitely like a pair of 11 or 66 tonight however.

I think 20 drawings is the best number to keep the set at. You want to look at the recent past, not too far back. Also, picking a lot more numbers than 20 will end up being rather time consuming. Racking up points for the last 20 numbers drawn should only take 5-10 minutes. Picking fewer than 20 just gives you too small of a sample size. However, there is another little nifty trick you can do with the smaller sets. Break it up into groups of 5. Look at the points of each number for 5 draws, 10 draws, 15 draws and then 20 draws. Compare and contrast which numbers are hot and cold over those 5 draw intervals as opposed to your 20 draw total. If you see a number is cold at 5 and 10 draws, but hot at 15 and 20, it's probably moving more into that sphere of being cold. It helps to know which numbers are in "transition". As for your doubles question, you are correct. You work the points the same if there are doubles or triples. If the draw is 999, 9 would receive 6 points overall for that draw. 3+2+1=6.

It took 10 days, but sure enough that Vtrac 2 showed itself. 011 fell on the 26th with 664 on the 27th.. so my continued advice is to be patient while tracking, all good things take time. Meanwhile, I've been driven crazy by a Vtrac3 not showing up for 8 draws in a row.
