dynodyno,
First off, just to be honest I do use other software in addition to Lotto Pro but also think Lotto Pro is very good.
As far as your question is concerned. I do this when it comes to the skip and hit chart. I like to set the Drawing cutoff to at least 300. Then I add up each column starting with the 00 column (out zero games). Do that for each each cloumn out to 5-10 games out to get an average number of hits for each game out. You only need to do this once then just remember what the averages are and use them every drawing after that. A drawing cutoff of 300 is a pretty good sample so the averages shouldn't change much over time. Then use the hit performance chart with the skip and hit chart and seriously consider playing numbers that are at or above the average number of hits for the number of games out. Also look for spikes in the skip and hit chart. If number is out three games and it has hit 4 times after being out two games and then hits 10 times after being out 3 games and then hit 3 times after being out 5 games you should play that number now. That ten hit spike really suggests that number really likes hit after being out 3 games when on either side of that it hits much less.
I also like to use the drawing summary chart in this way:
Set the hot number cutoff to 3 games and note what the hot numbers drawn percentage is. Let's say it is 25% and you are using a 10 number wheel. If 25% of the numbers drawn are only 3 games out or less then 25% of the numbers in your wheel should come from there. So you should pick 2 or 3 numbers that are 3 games out or less. Then change the hot number cutoff to 5 games and note again the hot numbers percentage. Let's say it is 47%. Then you would want 4 or 5 of your numbers to come from number drawn within the last 5 games or less. You have already picked 2 or 3 that are out 3 games or less so you would pick 1 or 2 numbers that are out 4 or 5 games. Then do the same thing again with a hot number cutoff of 10. What you will have is another 3 or 4 numbers picked that come from numbers out 6-10 games and then the last 1 or 2 numbers you should pick long shot numbers out more than 10 games. I play mostly a daily Pick 6 game and in most drawings there will be either 5 numbers or all 6 that come from numbers that were drawn at least once in the last 10 games. If you use the method I described above you will get a nice distribution of numbers picked within the last 10 games.
Most of all, don't rely on the picks that Lotto Pro suggests. This is the one thing in the program that I have a problem with. It only gets maybe 1 number right a game or maybe two and a good amount of the time none. You have to do your own analysis to come up with the best numbers.
About your wheeling question. I use anywhere from a 7 number to a 10 number FULL wheel and then use filters to get it down to 10 sets of numbers. This is where I suggest you also use Lotto Hat. It has many more filters than Lotto Pro and I usually don't have any trouble getting a 9 number full wheel (which starts off as 84 combinations) and getting it down to 10 combinations so that I can spend $5 a day.
Good Luck!
