Say I win the Mega Millions lottery jackpot and after the drawing, but before I claim the ticket, I move to Florida or Nevada where state income tax does not exist. Would I have to pay income tax at the state that I'm currently living even if I change my resident address to florida before I claim the lottery ticket?

I read somewhere a "what's next" type of article of what things you would encounter after winning a lottery and obviously taxes were discussed. They quoted an accountant or a tax attorney in which he mentioned a legal case that took place in Ohio about a lottery winning. The person who won the jackpot was from Kentucky (I think, not sure) and the judge in the case ruled the winner only had to pay taxes in Ohio and not Kentucky where the person resided. So the tax attorney/account said there is now precedence that it would pretty much be universal that taxes would only have to be paid in the state where the money was won.
