Once again I will try to win the Powerball hoping to go into September with a big win.

8/26 was a Thursday.

  I've got the numbers 9-12-16-31-45 and 42 as Powerball.

  I'm also playing the Illinois in-state Lotto game (with a 6/52 matrix) for the first time for the hell of it, seeing that that jackpot is $13.5 million, and I accidentally got four plays (it's $1 for two plays, and the person who sold me the ticket must have misunderstood, but I decided to pay the $2 anyway, seeing that once an unwanted Lotto Texas ticket turned out to be the only match 5 winner for one drawing).  Anyway, for the Illinois Lotto, I got the numbers:

  8-11-17-26-43-48

  5-25-30-31-39-41

  7-8-10-17-26-46

  21-32-43-44-47-51

Over the years, the lotteries have done a good job of spreading the stories about rejected tickets that would have won the jackpot to encourage people to keep any tickets that are punch in by mistake and it has worked pretty good.  In cases where it has not worked, they've changed the rules so someone has to keep the tickets because it save money for the states.

Look,my numbers were getting so close.From 11 to 29,No number came out.

PA puts a sign up at each retailer that reads

"We cannot cancel Powerball Tickets"
