    On todays predictions for CT and maybee all states SuperWheeler predicts ten

    identical numbers for Pick 4 and another set of identical numbers for PB. What does

    it mean?

    My guess is that the predictor wants to get 10x credit if that number happens to come in.  Just like you can go to the store and play 1-2-3-4 10 times.

      I think it increases their percentage ratio as well.

        Yes, but only if they hit, of course.  You can also look at ity the other way:  they have a much better chance of decreasing their hit ratio, because of the much worse odds of getting a hit.

          Very true, Todd.  It's a wash in the long run.  They are facing the same odds with each combo...it's a gamble.

          However, if a player really likes his combo for some reason or other and has 10 - 50 "hypothetical" dollars to spend towards it on the prediction page, then it makes sense to bet more heavily on it (or post it more times) because of the profit potential and level of confidence.

          But it will still come out even in the end.

          It all comes out in the wash.
