My friends and I have been purchasing the current PA Millionaire Raffle tickets over the past month and they are currently around number 230,000 as of yesterday morning. It looks like they're selling an average of about 5000 a day, give or take. I thought someone out there might be interested, and didn't see a forum for the state millionaire raffles.

Yeah, that's about the halfway point.

I'm sure when they start super advertising, they'll sell out before the drawing.

Seems to go that way every year.

Good luck on the big one!

Thank you for this update! I had been wondering what the daily range was for purchases. I did get one and since its all computer picks I doubt highly that a ticket with three consecutive (same Numbers) will be drawn. Computers dont normally do two consecutive much less three in a row!. So be it, it will go to some Lil ole Lady who is on limited income :)

One day your life will flash before your eyes, make sure its one worth watching.

OKay I got another ticket- starts with 254xx8, So hopefully this helps to see how on target they are.

Seems they are not selling to the sold out record yet....:(

Would this mean that they can still draw duds from the unsold ones?

One day your life will flash before your eyes, make sure its one worth watching.

Wow- it looks like sales are getting REAL slow. I've searched online, and I can't find anything about what happens with the unsold ones. I'm GUESSING that if those numbers come in, then Pennsylvania keeps the money. I might buy another ticket in a week or so, if I do I'll post back here. Thanks for the update, GameGrl!

4 - $100,000.00

Worth a shot. These odds are comparable to what the Cash 5 used to be...so it is currently the

best odds for a jackpot game in PA.

Time is winding down.

I hope they have at least 100,000 unsold tickets by cutoff.

I'm going to go poke around the website and see if I can find anything concerning unsold

tickets.

I would think they HAVE to award all winners.

For past draws the tickets have sold out before the cutoff date.

I expected heavy advertising about now. I don't see it.

Okay, I'll buy a few - but best bet would be to go to Bradford County - yeah way up State to get the tickets, nothing big ever hits Philadelphia.   I mean BIG.  Worth a drive to a small out of the way town.

Yeah, Raffle - sell all the tickets or the numbers are put in the hat.

Anyone figure out how much after taxes?  I know somebody did.

Ticket sales run up until 5pm on the 4th.

500,000 tickets...

roughly 71,000 to go.

Maybe they will not sell out.

It used to be they sold out well before the final week before the draw.

Good luck and thank you for the info.

Your welcome, and good luck to everyone else who's playing. I happened to see the Lottery made an announcement yesterday, and according to their count at noon yesterday, they sold a solid 4000 tickets in just over 2 hours. Either they misrepresented how many have sold, or sales have picked up. Here's part of the article FWIW:

Less Than 68,000 Tickets Remain for $5,089,200 in Prizes to 6,000 Winners

MIDDLETOWN, Pa., July 2 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- On July 4, the Pennsylvania Lottery's Millionaire Raffle will award 6,000 prizes totaling $5,089,200 - including four $1 million top prizes and four $100,000 prizes.

As of noon, 67,766 $20 Millionaire Raffle tickets remained available for sale. Sales of Millionaire Raffle tickets began on April 27 and will continue until 5 p.m. on July 4, or until all 500,000 tickets are sold, which ever comes first.

"The previous seven Millionaire Raffle games sold out before the drawing, so we encourage players to buy tickets now before they sell out," said Lottery Executive Director Ed Trees.

Bought one at 9pm tonight.

The count is only 438,000+

61,000+ left

I don't think they'll sell out this year.

18 hours left for sales.

20 hours left until draw.

Good luck!

I can officially say.... Neither of my tickets came even CLOSE to the 1$ million ticket numbers or the 100k numbers!

Sorta should learn, lady luck rarely rides the bus I am on.

Crossing fingers that I get at least 100 dollars back

Would like to back test  though based on the dates some of us said we bought our ticket, would be interesting to narrow down the dates the big winning tickets were bought...

Sorry to hear you didn't get a million, but there's always hope for the $100 I guess. I don't know what any of the numbers were, since I just got up for work tonight. I don't see anything posted on PA's website yet, so it looks like I'll just have to wait until tomorrow. I checked my bets on the horses though and hit a pick-3 at Hollywood for $110, so I get to feel like a little winner tonight :)
