"hour of work" - world monetary standard

I listened to this interesting interview and it was thought provoking. The Professor's main point was that ordinary working people get a raw deal compared to the owners of capital. It seems it must be true that; the first million is the hardest.

Bob Blain is one of the world's leading economic reformers. He believes that today's monetary system has stalled and has failed to complete its evolution.

He proposes developing a more sustainable world economy by adopting an "hour of work" as the world monetary standard, a way to share work and wealth more equitably.
