I didn't know he was still touring; shoot, I didn't even know he was still alive. I'm fairly knowledgeable about music, but I couldn't have named more than one of Rundgren's hits. I know he produced some good albums by Grand Funk, Meat Loaf and a few others, but according to the comments under the Breitbart article, he's been political in both some of his songs and public statements. I guess I missed that, so that tells you I really didn't care all that much about him OR his "art".

He's welcome to his opinion, he has every right to say what he thinks ... and to alienate a large chunk of his audience while he's at it.   It's been 20 yrs. since I went to see a movie in the theater, and even longer than that since I last went to a concert and it's this same type of attitude by him, other musicians and most actors that made me decide I wouldn't continue to subsidize their disdain for me.
