He's just tellin' it like it is, speaking truth to (undeserved) power.

Our once-esteemed Fourth Estate has turned into treasonous Fifth Columnists.

Pres Trump is voicing what most of us have known for years. They're a mouthpiece for globalism because they're owned by meg corporations.

This is an old concept. I have watched the movie "Mr. Smith goes to Washington" and I have also seen many old Westerns where the evil guy who runs rough shod over a town always owns the towns newspaper and has it print fake stories.

Fake news goes back at least to the invention of the printing press and evil "mouthpiece" media soon followed.

I've watched a lot of movies too, Think and don't remember any of those old Westerns. Maybe I've just not watched as many as you.

That said, there's a LOT of difference between Hollywood movies and reality and if anyone...and I mean ANYONE...doesn't recognize a leftist bias to the majority of the mainstream or legacy media, then they're either willfully blind or a leftist themself. Vox is one such example of the leftist media and I generally don't like to "impeach the source" but they're one of the exceptions. I simply do not trust anything I read from them.

@Mike I did not read the story before I posted. My comment was directed toward the biased "Mouthpiece" media and I was pointing out that the owners of the media outlets dictate the bias.

Trump, as far as I know, does not own any mainstream media so he has to fight their wickedness on social media.

N/P Sorry if I seemed to attack you but it seemed as though you were denying that today's mainstream news organizations are nearly all slamming Trump. I think he deserves some criticism for *some* of his unfiltered and rash comments but I am satisfied with him at least attempting to keep his campaign promises...something most politicians forget after they get into office.

I guess I could have been clearer.

President Trump is like the Jimmy Stewart Character in Mr. Smith goes to Washington. Although the Jimmy Stewart Character wasn't gruff.

Obama is like the Andy Griffith Character in "A Face In The Crowd" and eventually more people will come to see that.

Yes, those are only movies but they illustrate the point.
