Is it a felony in this country to give humanitarian aid whether they are illegal or homeless citizens.
Will they arrest me for buying someone a cup of coffee and a pastry.

I was a big fan of Duncan Hunter Sr. back before the '08 election; I thought he was the most conservative one in the whole bunch. (not hard to be, considering those people -excepting Ron Paul, of course) Hunter was the driving force behind getting the wall being built (in his own district, S. of San Diego) and immediately border crossings dropped by something like 70% in that area.   Hunter's hard core stance on illegal immigration was the main reason I wanted him as President.

Anyway, one ironic thing was that Hunter's brother was head of a charitable organization that left caches of food and water out in the desert along the most traveled paths.

I do not blame the jury for refusing to convict this man, just wish they'd convict more of the illegals, esp. those who have committed felonies while here illegally. I think that should be cause to deny any of them bail.
