Because America is a litigious society. You send these kids to school, and there is an outbreak of the virus, resulting in either hospitalization or death, it becomes a lawyer’s wet dream.
China has over a billion people, they also allow their citizens to eat cats, dogs & other crap- so in other words, they don’t care.
