* People in leadership positions don't like answering questions, they think it's beneath them. In politics &  church business,  leaders assume they own the church as others think they own the country.

It was very SIMPLE, comply and the situation would have been fine. Resist and suffer the consequences. She was under a court order for a previous altercation!
