They come up with something new every day. Gotta watch em like a hawk. Seems like the populace would be notified of this for their input. How many would know of this until it has been passed?
Why do we need permanent federal and state employees with their pay and benefits. They could assign the incomong two year national service people to perform the duties. Have a steady influx of employees with no problem.

It's illegal conscription. You can tell by the wording that it's a back-door draft. Meanwhile the corrupt Charles Rengel is calling loudly for a draft. That is to distract us into thinking this bill is NOT a draft.

What they are creating is a Gestapo through the auspices of "Homeland" Security. That's exactly what Hitler did in Germany.

Judging by the anger in America today, it would not be a wise idea for them to pass this. It might be the proverbial straw.

Thanks Rick & Sully
I agree with both of you.
Have you heard? Mass legislature has passed a bill waiting for the governors signature. Mass wants to do away with the electoral college. Winner of the national population vote takes all electorial votes in Mass no matter how Mass voters voted. Cute huh. The article said other states are considerng the bill.
Hows that hope and change going?

I like Sully's comment. Pretty much the first words that came to my mind when I read the article.
