State law requires drivers to stay in the right lane with some exceptions, including passing or if there's a hazard in the road.
According to the accident report, Hunt's SUV was in the left lane and the RTD was travelling in the left lane.
After the bus hit Hunt's disabled vehicle, a truck also hit the damage.
Since she has State Farm, the insurance company will handle the lawsuit. I was in a situation like this about 15 years ago. And the sorry S.O.B.'s had the nerve to wait 2 years before they filed a lawsuit. I was informed by SF that they had up to 3 years to sue and that was news to me. Unfortunately SF settled with the mother-scooters. I was ready and rearing to go to court. After all it was the piss-ant that ran the red light and ended up being nailed by me.
So if these motor-scooters were in the wrong lane and nailed this vehicle.........
Then they are not entitled to jack shhhhhhhh.........
