He then proceeded over the next 4 years to lead America into a Great recession,near Depresssion that President Obama is still trying bring America out of 4 years later despite the Republican Obstructionism he has been confronted with every step of the way.
Republicans ONLY hate debt and deficits when they aren't the ones running them up like they do every time they are given the chance with a Republican President!
History shows that a full 2/3 of the national debt is due to Republican passed spending bills passed by a Republican Congress and signed by a Republican President.
