I will say the 10-20 law is absurd, but why didn't she get 10, instead of 20? I would say we don't know the full picture here.
If he attacked and battered a police officer, then what in the hell would stop him from "trying to detain", provoke, or even attack Trayvon? Zimmerman's account was skewed from day one and everyone with any real sense and reasonability knows this. He said that Trayvon "circled" his vehicle and he wouldn't roll his window down to tell Trayvon who he was because he was so "scared".
Yet, and still, he exited his vehicle after Trayvon disappeared, to see where he went. Really? He's gonna go and find someone that just circled his vehicle not knowing if they're even armed? All while still scared? Trayvon never circled the vehicle because it was never mentioned in the initial statement by him. He was trying to establish just cause for pursuit....because "they always get away" and he was gonna catch one this time.
Well, he did...and they ended up dead.
