Moral of the story: This is why criminals will only have guns, and law abiding citizens are easy prey for the jack booted thugs.

I hope he doesn't cave in either. Screw the officers who take the law into their own hands. A nice discrimination lawsuit, and that so called officer is walking the beat or in another trade.

Most of these Transportation Authority Police are always on alert for criminal activity as they travel the
I 95 corridor and other interstates. We just had a road rage shooting the other day where the driver was shot and killed.

If they followed him for so long it could be because the cops have licence plate readers and when his stats came up it showed he had a gun permit. By the way they are still looking for the road rage attacker.

I don't condone what the cops did and it bothers me that the authorities know more about you than you do yourself. Maryland just passed some of the strictest gun laws in the country you cant even purchase a gun here now unless you take a class and get a gun purchase permit. If you carry a gun and you don't have this permit you can be arrested. You can't even transport your gun to a gun range or gun shop without the proper certification. And it's next to impossible to get conceal and carry or open carry permit here. You have to show cause and have a squeaky clean record before they will even consider giving you one.

So as it boils down they do not want armed citizens only police security, guards, and private detectives can get a carry permit and even they have to have squeaky clean records.
