Maryland just passed some of the strictest gun laws in the country you cant even purchase a gun here now unless you take a class and get a gun purchase permit. If you carry a gun and you don't have this permit you can be arrested. You can't even transport your gun to a gun range or gun shop without the proper certification. And it's next to impossible to get conceal and carry or open carry permit here. You have to show cause and have a squeaky clean record before they will even consider giving you one.
