Make lower than the taxable income for social security calculation will reduce your social security benefit accordingly.
Good luck living on that.

Do not make enough for a savings plan crimps your lifestyle when savings are needed.

If you are happy with a basic income just for survival supplied by your lower income or federal social program income have at it.
