This is so sad. Once you start telling a lie, you will have to tell 7 more to cover the first one, and so on. Just think about the lesson that you are teaching your children. It's OK to lie if no one gets hurt or no one suffers bodily harm. That's where you are wrong. Feelings get hurt and then people become reluctant to help when they have been hoodwinked.
