There was nothing brave about what he did. He's fourteen, a minor, and don't have a pot to piss in or a window to throw it out. He's rude, disrespectful and stubborn and is obviously a problem for his mother. She needs to use tough love with him. If he refuses to go to school, he needs to be placed in juvenile detention as an incorrigible child where they will make him go to school. If he stays there for a while, he will be happy to do as he is told.
