Tavis is a smart man but I have to disagree with him on this one. I was not better off with a republican administration. Voodoo economics has never worked and that is all repubs have to offer. It wasn't designed to work for people in the middle. But big business, upper-class and above love it because it benefits them the most.

The problem here is that Tavis, Cornel West, and a few prominent others are disappointed with Obama because he has in fact NOT done as much for blacks as they thought he should've. It's no secret that these guys are looking way beyond what's visible to the untrained eye. His suggestion that we'd be better of with a Republican is simply based on the idea of Obama doing what the Republicans do....help the big businesses, the stock markets, and those entities which actually make the 'clock tick.'

This is what Obama has been doing instead of just catering to blacks and hispanics in his larger agenda. Both Tavis and West have been the Michael Berry show and made this point very obvious which even Berry found to be interesting.
