Ummm, negative, Ghost Rider. I see problems here...with the author, at least. Let's analyze.

(1) Here’s what happened. Earlier Friday morning, 28-year-old Zia Segule left the home he shares with his wife Tiffany in Fayetteville. Tiffany stayed in bed, catching some extra sleep.

He 'shares' the home with his wife? Well, it's his home and he was leaving only to get breakfast, which brings me to my next point.

(2) But at about 10:15 a.m., Zia Segule unexpectedly came back home. He carried a take-out breakfast to surprise his sleeping wife. At least, he thought she was sleeping.

How the hell does a man that lives at his own house 'UNEXPECTEDLY' come back to his own house?

(3) According to police, the soldier did not attempt to sneak into the house. He simply entered through the front door as he normally would. But in the interim between his departure and return, 27-year-old Tiffany had apparently activated the house’s security alarm system.

Okay, so he obviously didn't set the alarm when he left but, with the break-ins spoken of, you'd think he would since he was leaving. So, she got up and realized he was gone and set the alarm but, she had to know he was coming back at some point, right? Do they not have a system/protocol regarding when someone leaves to activate/deactivate the alarm?

(4) “She woke up. She armed herself and she fired a shot through her bedroom door hitting her husband in the chest,” Kincaide recounted.

Here, either she heard the alarm going off AND someone either approaching the bedroom door, or, trying to open the bedroom door. Otherwise, this means the bedroom door is perfectly aligned with her bedroom door because she shot through her bedroom door. To hit hubby, he had to be in line with the bedroom door., and/or trying to open it. Did she not ask who was there? There's some missing details in this deal as far as I'm concerned. Not saying she was in the wrong but, there's definitely a serious LACK OF COMMUNICATION involved. As a result, he could've died.
