Fans buying tickets in this year's Green Bay Packers Wisconsin Lottery game will take home a raffle entry rather than a scratch-off ticket.
Team and lottery officials Monday announced details of what they called the first-ever such game offered by a state lottery and NFL team.
For $2 a ticket starting Saturday at lottery outlets statewide, fans can buy a chance at four tickets to all Packers road games next season — airfare and accommodations included.
Three raffle entries will cost $5.
"With just one $2 ticket you could end up traveling everywhere the Packers play next year," Wisconsin Lottery director Mike Edmonds said Monday in a written statement. "It's an incredible price for a truly incredible prize."
The prize package also includes first- and second-round playoff games: two tickets for any road game and four for any home game.
Raffle tickets will be sold until Nov. 2, and winners will be drawn Nov. 3, with winning raffle numbers posted on Lottery Post's Wisconsin Lottery Results page soon after the drawing.
In the past, fans purchased scratch-off tickets and knew right away if they were winners.
Other possible prizes this year include 75 Lambeau Field tailgate packages and 100 Packers Pro Shop gift cards worth $300 each.
It is the third year that the Packers have partnered with the Wisconsin Lottery on a venture that officials said generated nearly $2 million for the state last year, providing relief for state taxpayers.
Prizes and Odds
If your seven-digit number exactly matches one of the winning numbers drawn, in exact order, you win the corresponding prize.
There will be one Grand Prize of 4 tickets to each 2012 Packers regular season Road Game including:
- Airfare for 4 to each destination
- 2 hotel rooms at each destination
- Transportation to and from airport and the game
- 4 Tailgate Party passes at each destination
- Trip for 2 to any away 2012 season Packers playoff games (excluding the Super Bowl) including tickets, airfare, and hotel OR 4 tickets (with no transportation or hotel accommodations) to any 2012 season home playoff games in which the Green Bay Packers are playing
- Prize includes federal and state withholding taxes
- Total estimated value, including cash, prizes and taxes: $69,889
There will be 75 winners of an MVP Tailgate Ticket Package including:
- 2 - game tickets for a 2012 Packers home game
- 2 - tailgate passes to the Packers PreGame MVP Tailgate
- 1 - autographed helmet by a Packers starter
- 1 - $50 Packers Pro Shop gift card
- 1 - $50 Food Voucher for inside the stadium and $50 spending money
- 2 - pre-game field passes to participate in holding the American Flag during the National Anthem
- Total estimated value, including cash and prizes: $1,900
There also will be 100 winners of a $300 Gift Card to the Packers Pro Shop or PackersProShop.com.
The odds of winning will be determined by the number of tickets sold. The maximum number of tickets available for sale is 9,999,999.

Like all expense paid bus fare and admission to all of Gorilla Monsoon's matches.

When ya'll win, you'll want a big house, fancy cars, security, help the poor...blah blah blah. I want my own box at Lambeau Field! So when Kansas wins Megamillions tonight and the winner goes annoymous and says "I'm going to have them build me a box at Lambeau Field" you'll know its me. HAHA!
lottery and green bay packers will clean up on this. bad odds for bettor. wouldn't advise purchasing. would require maximum effort and committment to attend all the road games. better off watching on tv than winning this prize. would rather see a haystacks calhoun vs. gorilla monsoon match over green bay packers game too.

yes, dick the bruiser was feared and renowned in those days. my recollection was that buddy rogers was the popular champ who no one wanted to face in those title matches. they usually carded a mid-level guy in those which they had about every two weeks. dick the bruiser who i remember but can't remember who he went against then. seems like he was involved in tag team matches. killer kowalski was the local who surpassed buddy rogers. haystacks calhoun who was 600 lbs usually faced two guys in a tag situation and always brought his horseshoe attached to a steel chain if they ganged up on him, he would use it. sunday night wrestling drew numbers back then.
tiggs and his buddy was in Detroit to see Killer wrestle and we was on the street corner when Killer was crossing the street and some car came real close and fast at Killer and he shook his fist and cussed them out real loud..Needles to say the car did not stop..Memories!! This was about 1960?......The Bruiser wrestled a lot on Detoit TV in the early 50's with Sam Menacer at ring side..Bruiser was a great intervew with his cigar..Classic..

I met Ray Nitzke at a harware convention in Chicago in 1984, the company I worked for made drill indexes, so we had a booth, I went wondering around and He was signing autographs, I was just watching and finally he says," Hey little girl you want my autograph" I said yes if I can sit in your chair for awhile, LOL, I still have it in a picture frame with his picture, I didn't even know who he was .
Now I do, glad I got his autograph.
