'All or Nothing' to be drawn four times daily

A popular new lottery game format is now finding its way to Georgia.
Starting Sunday, Georgia lottery players will be able to buy tickets for the latest Georgia Lottery game called All or Nothing.
In the new game, players choose 12 numbers from a total pool of 24 numbers, and they can win the top prize by matching either all or none of the 12 numbers drawn to the numbers on their game ticket.
The top prize is $250,000.
Tickets for All or Nothing cost $2 each, and they will go on sale statewide Sunday, March 2.
"All or Nothing is unlike any other draw game offered by the Georgia Lottery," President and CEO Debbie D. Alford said. "To match or not to match? That is the question. Players are sure to enjoy this new twist."
Drawings will be held four times a day, seven days a week, at 10 am, 2 pm, 6 pm and 10 pm. All or Nothing is the first and only Georgia Lottery game to be drawn four times a day.
Drawings will be conducted with a computerized drawing system.
In addition to the two top prizes of $250,000 by matching all or none of the numbers drawn, players will have several other ways to win prizes between $2 and $500.
Overall odds of winning All or Nothing is 1 in 4.5.
Georgia is not the first state to implement the 'All or Nothing' game format, which has gained popularity recently in several other states. Currently, the states of Texas, Illinois, Iowa, and Minnesota, as well as the country of Ireland, have started All or Nothing games. (It is called Hit or Miss in Illinois.)
Among the other All or Nothing states, both Texas and Illinois have implemented the game with four daily drawings, as Georgia is doing with its new game.
As with all other Georgia Lottery games, proceeds from All or Nothing will benefit education in the state of Georgia.

This game is a hype job - "Oh, my numbers don't hit, I'll go for hitting nothing."
Illinois has the same exact game, 4 draws a day, it stinks.
Pick an arbitrary set of numbers and track them on paper - the most common result is you hit 5, 6, or 7, which do not pay.
If you were to play all four drawings on most days you would lose $2, $4, $6, or $8. Rare is the day you would break even.
I agree. I played it for a little bit on the Texas prediction board. It's $2 per play and it wasn't worthwhile for me to continue playing. On the face of it, the games seems enticing, but once you really start to study it carefully, not such a good game.
I like the All or Nothing games, but I don't like the computerized drawings. I'm glad to see that Georgia is getting a new game with a good format.
Play'em all high or all low or all odd or all even. Sooner or later the computer will pick them the opposite way?

Playing all even or odd, or the first 12 or last 12 will pay pretty well on small prizes, but in Texas you will split the jackpot a lot. Enough that each winner will get much less than $250000. There is a $5000000 limit in Tx, then it becomes parimutuel.
On a another note, for all you GA lottery scratcher players.. How are the new scratchers working out for you?
I have gone to different rural locations to buy the $2,000 a week for life $5 sctatcher and nothing. Even got one clerk at a chevron to open a fresh roll and give me the first two tickets (00 and 01) and still nothing. Not expecing the grand prize but where are is my FREE TICKET prize lol\
Please let me know what you experienced scratchers lile to play. I try to just play the $5 ones when my income is right. Thinking of buying a $20 scatcher every two weeks if anything. GA scratchers are falling off the grind!

I too considered the hi/low, odd/even approach when I first heard the game was coming to Georgia. Then I looked at the draws for the Texas All or Nothing game for Feb22 to Feb26, 16 draws (no Sunday games). In the odd/even category, 15 of those draws had 5,6 or 7 hits. In the hi/low category, 15 of those draws also had 5,6 or 7 hits. Having 5,6 or 7 of 12 is not a winner. One of the sixteen draws had 8 odd which pays $2. One of the sixteen draws had 8 low which pays $2. Overall, the odd/even, hi/low approach does appear to pay.
Of course Texas' results do not predict Georgia's but I am inclined to skip this game. I'll look at Georgia's results for a while to see what happens. If I do play it will be QPs.
Georgia just dropped the Win for Life game. I wish they hadn't. I never won a jackpot but did at least win a lot of 3 of 6 & some 4 of 6.
Did they finally take the "even/odd" and "high/low" box off the bet slips?

When this game rolled out, it caught my attention (looked interesting)... I played for awhile... glad I stopped... this game does stink.
I don't care for computerized drawings either... I really, really want to believe there's nothing shady about them; but it makes me wonder...
Yeah, when they started the game back up last August they brought out new playslips. We can still choose such combinations, but we have to check each number box. In my opinion that would be a bad bet because there are a lot of people playing such combinations. Enough that the payout would be paimutuel.
