I'm hoping someone can put this into excel for quicker testing.
Take your last two evening winning numbers like below in a real example in Florida,
|Tue, Dec 23, 2014||9-8-3|
|Mon, Dec 22, 2014||7-7-2|
Using regular math, you go up from 772 to 983 which comes to 211.
So the number we're always looking at is the number that we added to get the next eve's number which in this case is 211.
Now we take 211 and go up and down by 1 in each position. (We always use the original workout number to play)
Play these both mid and eve, str8/bx for the next 3 days only, or stop If you hit before those three days.
Three days later in the midday draw, the winner was,
|Fri, Dec 26, 2014||2-1-1|
In this case the original workout number hit, but most of the time it's one of the up/down numbers that hits.
Another real example from Florida,
|Thu, Dec 25, 2014||4-0-6|
|Wed, Dec 24, 2014||5-7-7|
Adding up from 577 to 406 is 829
406+829=1406(when you have 4 digits, always use the last three numbers)
Two days later in the midday drawing, the winner was ,
|Sat, Dec 27, 2014||8-3-9|
|Sat, Dec 27, 2014||0-5-3|
|Fri, Dec 26, 2014||5-3-4|
534 to 053 is 519
Next day the midday winner was a boxed hit this time.
|Sun, Dec 28, 2014||9-1-6|
Reply #1: onlymoney — December 29, 2014, 5:15 pm
For a test, I'm using the last two winning numbers in Florida to see what happens during the course of the next 3 days.
|Sun, Dec 28, 2014||9-4-0|
|Sat, Dec 27, 2014||0-5-3|
From 053 to 940 is 887.
Reply #2: notmyday — December 29, 2014, 6:19 pm
shouldnt that be 997 and the one above was off the same 936 i believe.

BTW your math was off. The last number set should have been 212 not 213
Reply #7: Ilovetowin — December 29, 2014, 9:25 pm
What about Texas with four drawings. Would I still use the evening drawings.
Reply #8: onlymoney — December 29, 2014, 10:37 pm
I see the mistake, thanks.
You're awesome dude, thanks.
Reply #9: onlymoney — December 29, 2014, 10:40 pm
Personally, I would divide the four drawings as four separate drawings. Do some tests to see If it even works in any orientation.
Reply #10: onlymoney — December 29, 2014, 10:42 pm
Thanks, actually it was a result of something i was experimenting with totally unrelated. It stuck out like a sore thumb, so i had to look into it further.
Reply #11: onlymoney — December 29, 2014, 10:49 pm
Something is not right. I got this,
|Last 2 Drws||940|
It should be 887, (53+887=940)
Reply #12: emilyg — December 29, 2014, 11:02 pm
Thank you. Right up my alley since I only use evening numbers in my testing. Will see how Ga. does.
Happy New Year

I understand the -1 787
but the +1 side seems off should it be??
or am I not getting it?

My download is working.
Reply #15: ranman17 — December 30, 2014, 6:11 am
I will fix it later

You're absolutely correct. I was drunk and stoned, sorry..lol
Good catch, thanks.

Thank you buddy !
Reply #18: onlymoney — December 30, 2014, 7:43 am
Me too, but since all three hits came on midday draws, I may have to actually get dressed and go to the store to play. I don't play mid draws.
Reply #19: sealover — December 30, 2014, 7:46 am
Nice work. Just looked at dowload. Sorry if I am repeating questions, did you do mid, mid, or eve, eve or mid, eve. Lowest here, is that in sequence, oldest draw on bottom? Thanks for sharing.
Reply #20: onlymoney — December 30, 2014, 10:40 am
I tried mid to eve and then mid to mid and had like one hit I believe, but eve to eve worked best.
Yes, oldest draw on the bottom.
Note: The success with eve to eve could be a temporary trend, so this is why i asked for a spreadsheet so I can do a more extensive test in less time.

Favor please (if you're awake)
Reply #22: kreative1 — December 30, 2014, 11:59 am
thanks onlymoney and ranman!
I think because of how it's set up for the math you have to put larger draw on top
Reply #23: emilyg — December 30, 2014, 12:21 pm
Thank you Happy New Year
Reply #24: onlymoney — December 30, 2014, 1:39 pm
Not correct. If the older draw is higher than the newer draw, you'll have to keep going past it to get the correct number.
|Wed, Dec 24, 2014||5-7-7|
|Tue, Dec 23, 2014||9-8-3|
Despite the 577 being lower than the 983, you still use it in that fashion. You're counting up to 577 using regular math. So, from 983 to 1,000 is 17, and then to 577, so 17+577=594.
983+594=1577(use only use last 3 digits when you get 4 digits)
So 594 is the workout number.
Another example, this one can get harder, and this is why I wanted an excel sheet. Since 347 is already higher than 325, you'll have to go full circle. 978 is the correct answer. 347+978=1325
So we use 978 for our workout.
Reply #25: onlymoney — December 30, 2014, 1:45 pm
Sunday is the oldest, so that goes on the bottom.
To get from 717 to 286, we must go past 1,000. 717 to 1,000 is 283. Then from 1,000 to 286, so 283+286=569.
To make sure that 569 is the correct number, simply add 569+717=1,286. That confirms the math is correct.
So use 569 in the workout.
Reply #26: kreative1 — December 30, 2014, 2:27 pm
oh my bad
no wonder some of your examples didn't make sense to me
Reply #27: Cupcake10 — December 30, 2014, 2:56 pm
Come on lets think about this...
For a quick glance, you can just add 1,000 to the newest number (if less than previous number) and minus other number to get your answer.
Ex. just add 1,000 to Dec 24 577 to get 1,577
Dec 23 - 983
Reply #28: plover1 — December 30, 2014, 4:22 pm
nice!! much easier doing it that way
Reply #29: phileight — December 30, 2014, 4:26 pm
my version of OM's pick 3 system. It does use macros. there are two tabs data and sheet 2. after checking it out with the data that is loaded, load your pick 3 data into same space I am using on the data tab. your data also needs to be in same format. select sheet 2 and select the start button all of your matches will be colored.
at the top of this sheet you can select midday or evening draw, i do not mix them. you can also select how many games to check. currently set for 400
drop box link below. enjoy

hi ranman. can you post this link to download without going thru dropbox? I cannot download it. It keeps reloading again and again.Thanks

Sorry, that's the site I use for file sharing.
Reply #33: onlymoney — December 30, 2014, 11:18 pm
Appreciate it, thanks.
Reply #34: onlymoney — December 30, 2014, 11:28 pm
I hate to keep complaining, but it's still not right.
I got this,
|Last 2 Drws||247|
The workout number is 278, not 388. 969+278=1247
Also, the lowest number does not go on the bottom. Whatever the numbers are despite them being higher or lower is used in that fashion. I'm not looking for the difference between the two winning numbers per se, I'm adding upwards.
Reply #35: ranman17 — December 31, 2014, 7:55 pm
Sorry Onlymoney...I don't have the head for it. I can get it to work one way or the other but because you must put the most recent draw on top and you are never sure if it is the higher or lower number. I can make it so that after you do the math you enter you trigger number and it will give you your play set(s) but if that's not what you want I suggest you ask CarliG or Winsum.
Happy New Year Everyone!

Maybe you could help with this also. This is something I have struggled with in the past. If you enter the following:
but excel does not recognize the 00 so you get bad results. If you need I can send you the spreadsheet unprotected.

Let's wait and see if phileight is able to help with this last little bit and then I will email it to you.
Reply #43: onlymoney — January 1, 2015, 4:37 pm
Thanks ranmam and phileight.
Just one question, the sets below the 1/up and down, how did you get those? I like them.
Reply #44: onlymoney — January 1, 2015, 4:54 pm
The first thing I noticed is that this works better when the top number is lower than the bottom number. This should cut down cost of play. Only play when this situation arises.
The second thing I noticed was the sets below my one up/down sets. I don't know how ranman came up with those sets, but at least 60 to 70% of the time, If I do a 1 up/down on those, there will be a straight hit within 3 days.

Have you tried uninstalling Open Office and reinstalling it?
Reply #46: phileight — January 1, 2015, 5:03 pm
click the column(or columns) header to select then right click and select format cells. select custom. in the type box put three 000 if you want 3 digits (leading zero's) to always display
Reply #47: txpolo — January 1, 2015, 5:06 pm
could you do your workout on
cuz I am lost
Reply #48: ranman17 — January 1, 2015, 5:09 pm
That's how it was formatted to begin with. It does not recognize the 0's as numbers
Reply #49: onlymoney — January 1, 2015, 5:09 pm
Those two numbers, 274 and 502 were just an example. They are not from Florida's winning numbers.
You don't have to do the workout anymore, thanks to ranman and phileight, they've automated it. Apache Open Office is free, just look it up on the net and download it.
I'll do this one for you. The top sets are 1 up/down of 772. The bottom sets are from ranman. I don't know how he got those, but they are effective.
|Last 2 Drws||274|

after looking at your file add val( ) to your left, right, and mid commands ex val(left(b2,1)) etc.
excel treats the result of these commands as text sometimes . adding the val insures excel treats the result as a number
Reply #52: ranman17 — January 1, 2015, 5:24 pm
I'll try it thanks.

Reply #61: phileight — January 2, 2015, 7:32 pm
how do i download the link using open office? you do not use open office to download the link.
from lp double click the link Ranman17 provided. this should open another window. if you have drop box installed you will have two options direct download or download to your drop box . use direct download. depending on options you or whoever set your computer up, the computer may or may not ask where you want the file stored. Default is in my documents downloads
lets try it again. if open office is running, close it. double click the link . if you go into a loop then press control and print screen at same time. this captures a screen shot that may help us figure out what is going on. nothing will seem to happen. don't worry. press control break or whatever you do to stop the loop.
now open "open office" word processor. press control V the screen shot should be on your computer screen. save this as test 1
let us know when you get this far
Reply #62: retxx — January 2, 2015, 8:42 pm
hi phileight. open office is closed. when i clicked on the link it asked for direct or to dropbx.I clicked direct. next screen i watched the top it said untitled and kept loading over and over and did not stop.

Reply #66: Pick3Guy — January 3, 2015, 4:02 am
Well, with all due respect, adding and/or subtracting ,with Pick 3 numbers, isn't really reliable and has nothing to do with how the numbers work. Instead, the game is governed by Probability.
Reply #67: Lildarryl — January 3, 2015, 7:58 am
Onlymoney is cool. But I agree with you 1000000000000%
Folks gonna be fishing for +- systems all year.
I cant believe most of em hasn't found 1 concrete way to play pick 3 yet
Reply #68: phileight — January 3, 2015, 8:09 am
Retxx I have been reading this morning. can find nothing related to your problem.
what operating system are you using ? XP, vista, win 7 win 8 etc
what type computer are you using desktop, laptop, tablet, notepad etc
what browser are you using IE version ? , firefox version? , safari etc
Reply #69: Pick3Guy — January 3, 2015, 8:35 am
Well, the key is in paying attention to Probability and what it tells us. Any viable Pick 3 method must center around this. Until then, ALL methods will end up to fail. But, a concrete way to play the Pick 3 has ,already, been found and ,of course, it's based on Probability. So, it can be done.
