Terry Fisher of Surrey, British Columbia won a 2003 Dodge Viper live on City TVs Breakfast Television Friday morning. Terry and his wife Sharon were special guests on the show along with 10 other finalists from across the province. Each of the 10 finalists had entered the Keno Viper contest by purchasing a $10 Keno ticket between June 22 July 27, 2003. Fisher entered the contest after playing Keno at the Wheelhouse Neighbourhood Pub on 96th Ave. in Surrey.

Last Friday 10 names were drawn from over 260,000 entries received. The 10 finalists received accommodation and airfare for two to Vancouver and were taken by limousine to City TV early this morning.

In a pre-determined order, each of the 10 finalists attempted to unlock the Viper with a randomly drawn key fob. As the tension mounted during the live show, Fisher was the tenth and final contestant to give the door a try. I won the Viper, he yelled out as he quickly unlocked the door and promptly seated himself behind the wheel of the 500 horsepower V10 sports car. I think Ill keep it for a while, said Fisher, Im excited about cruising up my street and showing it off to all my grandkids. Fisher and his brand new Viper, with an estimated retail value of $128,000, will certainly make a splashy entrance back into his quiet Surrey neighbourhood.
