MADISON, Wis. — Officials with the Wisconsin Lottery said the Megabucks jackpot is currently at a record high for its next drawing on Saturday.
The jackpot is at $21.4 million.
The last time the jackpot was this big was in 2001 when the jackpot was $20.3 million, according to a release.
Wisconsin is the only state that offers the Megabucks game — it is not a multi-state game.
If a winner of the $21.4 million jackpot were to choose the cash payout, they would get a lump sum of $15.2 million, officials said.
Megabucks drawings take place every Wednesday and Saturday night at 9:05 pm.
All Wisconsin Lottery winning numbers are published on Lottery Post's Wisconsin Lottery Results page minutes after each drawing.

GO Badger State GO !!! Will we be congratulating the lucky winner or winners this Sunday morning ? Or even Saturday night ?
$15,200,000.00 minus taxes would be about $8,000,000.00 . Am I close ?
I would invest the principal and live off the earnings.
Indeed we will be congratulating the winner or winners. i think you are close.
I think the highest oregon megabucks ever got was $30 million or around there it was almost not won for a year. That was a couple of years ago.-weshar75
That's a nice chunk of change.
Considering the odds, this is pretty good. I would definitely play if est. sales < 2 million tickets (4 million plays), would probably buy 1 regardless.
I was pondering a junket south of the border and may just go on a ticket run if it rolls again.
I haven't really been out of town to speak of for about 5 years so this may be a good excuse to blast the crud out of my cars engine.
At the odds of 1;13.98M this game is well worth playing.
Who knows- Perhaps Pickone is investing in winning this baby.
Nice , good luck Wisconsin players.
Time to get some tickets! Good luck everyone!
It would be funny if a Californian passing through Wisconsin happened to buy the winning ticket for this game
Green Bay's 1/4 back, Aaron Rodgers lives in CA.
Yes he does. I don't know if he plays the lottery though
No, those are back to work on Monday odds. One in 100 would be well worth playing.
