Anyone ever play a dulcimer before?

Thanks for responding. Always liked bluegrass and that's what we're working on. We have a fiddle too, so cajun is next (one of us has to learn to master that fiddle first...a lot tougher instrument). Hopefully, we'll be at the Indiana State fairgrounds one year soon opening for Mellencamp....lol Rick

As a matter of afct, I do know someone who plays a dulcimer. During my last few years in the Navy, I played guitar with a guy named Butch Burris. 52 years old, he just decided one day that he wanted to learn the guitar and began taking lessons. After only a few months of instruction, he was whipping off such obscure and difficult tunes as The Maple Leaf Rag. Thanks for the replies. Stefan I'm going to check out that link right after this. I need some new material after............................. Jack, funny enough, my younger son and I were just working on "Deliverance" laughing the whole time. You must have heard us in NM. Perfect song for the dulcimer and accompanying squeals.
