As much as our voting system is like Saddam Hussein's was, you gotta get off the couch and vote. Get your friends and family to vote. Write your representatives emails stating your views and position. Do something on your own behalf. In November you can push the button with pride that you did your best to fight this injustice of the American Way. Here's hoping you win the big one so's you don't have to worry about it. Those politico genius types are going to do whatever gives them the most mileage one way or the other. In modern America they know that what gives them the most mileage is taking away freedoms, spying on the citizenry, helping rich people get richer, pointing to themselves at election-time as protectors of moral values, the elderly, the frightened and insecure.
