I meant that I won't write any more about this subject since I've overstated my point already! You are one of my favorite "virtual" people! I might be in a bad mood. Having your toilet overflow after a deposit is a very unpleasant way to start the day. Isn't it amazing what we take for granted? There were children sleeping outside in the rain without food, water or shelter after Charley hit...only 40 miles from me.

Hi, Emily. I wasn't pointing the finger at you. Just commenting that in some situations, it's not easy to find work. I know you've been ill, but I also have limitations and so many times people tell me "you deserve better." It's true, but sometimes a cut in pay isn't possible. On a personal note, that is the reason I am looking for work in other areas. Sorry, I won't write any more. Once someone told me to "change my lifestyle" if I need more. Can't remember if that was before or after the tiles fell off my shower, the toilet backed up or the mold (or whatever that is) started oozing out of the walls. :)... [ More ]

<br />did work for a lunatic - quit. took a while - but did find something more pleasant. took a cut in pay - but enjoyed it much more.

<br />I agree with Aye's statement to a point. Personally, I could hate a job and I'd still try my very best and work hard. Finding something you love to do is a real bonus, but being responsible and trustworthy is always important.<br /><br

I think it also helps to strive to do the best you can at your job. Being able to take pride in a job well done is a large part of finding happiness in one's livelihood.
