Sorry for messing up your blog, Jack. Darn, I typed my own "pet peeve" which is using it's instead of its. Needed that to make me feel humble. :) Then I used the backspace, which didn't delete my comment, but posted it again, this time without the s. I guess I should give up on being perfect. I remember that song. Didn't realize it was Ray Stevens. I remember him on a tv variety show singing "Everything is Beautiful.....in it own way, la, la, la, la, ....."

Yeah, when I saw the date I thought it must be a mistake or a re-release. I couldn't remember when perzackly, but I knew I remembered it a lot earlier. I associate it in my mind with a song by Brook Benton I think must have been popular at the same time. Something about how the Lord was gonna make it ten times hotter than it ought'a be, that sort of thing.<br /><br />Gracias for the comment<br />J

1974 has to be a re-release. I remember it around 1962-1963 back on Atlanta's WPLO and WQXI AM radio stations. Sometimes on a good clear night WLS in Chicago would come through.
