Not unexpected. If the manufacturing process of the diode material was followed to the standards that insured a 20 year life span it would have lasted 20+ years. The doping process can vary greatly by material and technique. The Chinese don't give a sh1t, as long as they light up off the assembly line and the payments have cleared by failure time they are good to go. The original CFL's and LEDS lasted much longer until the manufacturing process was given up to China and Malaysia.... [ More ]

We go through quite a few light bulbs in our house, our old ones in the basement have outlasted the new ones on the main floor.

Yep, those supposed 20 year LED light bulbs are starting to fail.

Had one go out in the kitchen and only been there about year and a half.

What a bunch of B/S!!! Designed for Failure...

And the prices have not dropped...

So that was the plan all along...

get light bulb prices high.

Well, we're not buying a new one ass clown.

And when they all go out... GOOD FOR US!!!
