Original Blog Entry: don't give 1 star reviews

Back in october I got a private message that stated this:

Please do not use the rating system to post 1-star reviews on any particular member. The rating system is used to judge the quality of the content of a thread, and it is a mis-use to use it to punish another member you disagree with.

Then why keep the star rating system if some people can't handle a one star rating for their topic? I would get plenty of one star ratings on my topics from the people here that REALLY dislike me for thinking out of turn.

I see a topic that I would give a 0 star rating in the lottery discussion forum, due to it's incredible dullness.
