Yes, that what I meant. I had run away from home because of the abuse, but people will think what they want no matter who you are, so we need to always be true to ourselves.

So true. It also works in reverse, unfortunately. I know this isn't a political blog but look at the latest news about a Congressman from Florida. You just never know what demons a person is fighting by his outward appearance. Funny story about my "reputation" back in high school. I left home when I was 15 and one day after I returned to school a girl asked me if I had an abortion or decided to give my baby up for adoption. I was a virgin, but I guess somebody started a rumor and that's the "reputation" that stuck.... [ More ]
