<br />We do need to be reminded to VOTE. I'm an absentee voter myself. And I take voting very seriously - I meticulously look at each and every issue I am voting for and each and every person I am electing.<br /><br />As Konane has said, "Yes VOTE or take what everyone else who casts a ballot gives you.

Anyway, as Konane wrote, everyone should vote who can vote. In FL they now offer early voting centers in some convenient locations, so that people who work don't have to stand in line on Tues. In 2000 I didn't vote in Nov because I got stuck at work unexpectedly, so in 2004 I made sure I voted before election day. (Glad Gore didn't lose by one vote in FL or I'd really feel guilty

Yes, I agree...but it's too late to register to vote. Deadline is 30 days before the election.
