I know, but I guess I don't quite understanding this comment. I'm not sure there is anything wrong with having certain expectations. However, they need to be realistic ones. When I was married or dating (not at the same time!) I was never jealous of anyone. I figured if having me wasn't enough, there had to be something really wrong with him! LOL Seriously, I've read articles and heard both men & women say they are threatened by other successful people and sometimes they are jealous of their spouses who make more money or have more friends. It never makes any sense to me. A relationship is about sharing, not competing.... [ More ]

Interesting comment. I always had low esteem growing up in an unsupportive environment, but I never felt jealousy. I've known some extremely pretty & wealthy women who get jealous and they seem very confident, although we never know what is brewing inside a person. I do envy some people who have a lot more than I, but to me jealousy is a type of resentment. Sometimes I wonder "Why can't I be that lucky?" but I don't think it's a jealous thought, just a wishful one.... [ More ]
