The President had already discussed beforehand with Gov. Edwards about coming on Tuesday. <br /><br />Trump did not deliver those goods out of the goodness of his heart. A spokesman for the governor proposed Trump "consider volunteering or making a sizable donation to the LA Flood Relief Fund to help the victims of this storm.<br

Trumps visit to Louisiana was for publicity purpose only. He never asked permission, he just showed up. He seems to lack protocol when doing things. The police there were already stretched to the limit and had to provide security for him. This was very inconsiderate on his part. An eighteen wheeler full of goods will do very little for the devastation that has occurred in Louisiana. If he cared so much, where was he during the other disasters?...at home in his gold penthouse, that's where.
